Caregiver Collaboration
Family participation is a vital component of any successful therapy, but we understand that being a parent or sibling to a child with different learning needs or challenging behavior does not come with a how-to guide. We will help guide your family in using basic principles of ABA to effect positive change in your home. We will help you identify what motivates your own behavior and the impact it has on the harmony of your home. Finally, we will collaborate with you on identifying a plan that suites your family's unique needs.

ABA Therapy
ABA is an evidence based therapy which utilizes the basic principles of behavior to change socially significant behaviors. Progress is monitored via extensive data collection with the goal of addressing gaps in a learner's skill set or decreasing interfering behavior. Our goal is to help your learner regain some of their independence while maintaining their dignity and promoting their self -esteem. ABA can include teaching methods such as discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, shaping and more!

Consultation
ABA is an overwhelming science and finding the best care for your child is challenging amidst all the conflicting information out there. We can help you advocate for the needs of your child and help you determine the type of staff, programs and settings your child will thrive in. We can review and analyze your learner's evaluation reports, current setting, current treatment plan or educational goals and provide suggestions on how to increase their chances for success.

Assessments
The first step to identifying your learner's needs is to conduct a thorough assessment. Based on the immediate need of the participant, we will conduct either a skills assessment and/or functional behavior assessment (FBA). Skills assessments allow us to determine the learner's strengths and areas for growth. From there, we generate an individualized treatment plan that targets gaps in their skill set. FBAs allow us to identify environmental variables that influence and strengthen behaviors and provide recommendations for decreasing interfering behaviors and teaching appropriate replacement skills.

Staff Training
You bring the staff, we bring the training! If your family has identified the right people for your child's needs, but they don't come equipped with all the training and knowledge to help your learner grow or navigate through challenging behaviors we can help. We will provide an extensive and systematic training program that allows staff to learn the skills they need with consistent oversight from a BCBA. Schools and agencies can also contact us to help address your staffs unique training needs!

Tele-therapy
Telehealth is an incredible tool that allows us to assist learners in remote areas, provide more flexibility for busy families, or maintain consistent services when in person therapy is not a viable option. While tele-therapy is not the ideal mode of therapy for every participant, we have found that when used to work on specific skills with certain learners, it yields incredible results. Tele-therapy is never recommended for learners that it is not clinically appropriate for, if you are unsure if it is an appropriate option for your family please schedule a call with us!
